🌿 Cultural Semente Stay — live the culture by the sea
We are a culture and capoeira space by the sea, on Caixa Prego beach, Itaparica Island (Bahia, Brazil). We are not a commercial guesthouse with breakfast — our stay is built around the cultural experience: you sleep at the space, join the roda, take the classes, and leave with an experience — not just a night's stay.
🏠 The space
- 8 shared rooms (suites and dorms) with sea and forest views
- 4 shared bathrooms
- 1 communal kitchen, self-service — guests use it freely; we do not serve meals
- 1 gazebo and a 300m² hall for rodas, classes and events
- Wi-Fi, rest areas and direct beach access at the back
🥁 How the stay works
We host groups and immersions (capoeira and other cultures), focused on those who come to take part in the space's activities. The usual model:
- Groups of up to 20 people — we close groups so everyone has a good experience
- Stay + immersion: accommodation + master's class, capoeira roda, musicality
- For those staying more than 1 day: samba de roda, workshops and other cultural activities
- Simple, welcoming accommodation — not hotel luxury
📍 Getting here — Caixa Prego, Itaparica Island (BA)
The space is on Caixa Prego beach (Caixa Prego), Km 9, after the Tucano guesthouse — Espaço da Capoeira.
From Salvador:
- Boat Mercado Modelo → Mar Grande (30–40 min crossing, 5am–6pm). From Mar Grande, van to Caixa Prego Km 9 (approx. 25 km).
- Ferry Feira de São Joaquim Terminal → Bom Despacho (1h crossing, 5am–11:30pm, takes cars). From Bom Despacho, van to Caixa Prego Km 9 (approx. 30 km).
