🥁 Capoeira Angola — the root that holds the space
The Espaço Cultural Semente was born from capoeira angola. It was founded in January 2010 by Jorge Egídio dos Santos, an angola capoeira master known as Mestre Jogo de Dentro, on Caixa Prego Island (Vera Cruz, Bahia, Brazil).
What is Capoeira Angola
The most traditional form of capoeira, Angola preserves the "jogo de dentro" (close game), the mandinga, respect for the elders, and the orality of the masters. It is not just a fight — it is dance, music, history and a philosophy of Afro-Brazilian resistance.
